Blackball 2026
Another glorious fantastic memorable weekend hosted by Weeknackers who generously puts in the effort each year to host this magic event....!!
50 or so Hashers mainly GCH3 and CHCH hash Nelson hash and ofcourse MB ABC and Xerox representing from the pig Island attended....
Stunning scenery on way over curtisy of Ranger and Kiwi who provided a ride! Friday night piss up ! Well big piss up ! Hashers meet and greet at the Hilton, Daggy could be heard before I entered the pub and so good catching uo with the crew again lots of hash stories that get more enballished as the years roll over, Then supper at the fire station chips and pies to fill the belly..
A band played at the Inn for those left standing....
Saturday sumptuous breaky at the Inn then sun screen on hash cloth for hot/cold weather and off we all went back down the road a k or so, Wooow! What da know a booze trailer and PS sign...!
Few drinks off we all go again accross stunning farm land for 8k or so 16k or so for the river crossing but not for me ! Photos attached!
It's always interesting conversations with Hashers on these walks I never know what to believe...!
Back to the PS which surprisingly hadn't moved location where Weeknackers greeted us all back with a Shnakys shot!
So from around 1sh the party restarted with hussys pre loading on RTDs getting rather loud and the boys having a few convivial beers..!
How two hashers managed to hit their heads on the Blackball sign into town was a mystery...😁
Then a great circle back in town in the usual paddock by rugby field hot chips fish and yummy other stuff put on by hots thankyou....!
Circle fines master Lone Ranger, Cum Shot, and whoever else felt like contributing to the mayhem..
A short respite from drinking beer then dinner at 7! Amazing glazed chicken with all the trimmings then it was open to the floor for seconds!
One hasher boasted having 3 bits of large chicken! I was to slow Small Black's got in there😄....
Great band at the workys club and a band accross the road at the Hilton....for a small town its not short on entertainment...!
Sunday breaky recovery run final hugs and goodbyes! What an amazing weekend thanks to the hosts for your efforts to make it happen...
