Auckland Hash Clubs Xmas Dinner 6th December

The Combined Auckland Hash clubs Xmas dinner was held at New Lynn RSA

 Cross Dresser (Auckland HHH & Auckland Hussies) and Dodge (ex Hasher, and RSA President), decided we should arrange a pre-Christmas dinner for local hashers and their partners, at New Lynn RSA. We started gathering names from local hashers in November. On the day, we had over 40 people registered. We started gathering together at 5:00 pm, with dinner scheduled for 6:00 pm. There was a good gathering from all the local hashes, and we also had a visitor from Rotorua. A great opportunity to get together with the hashers we see regularly, and also the ones we only see occasionally. Lots of reminiscing, and the usual BS.

Dinner was ready at 6 o’clock, and what a great buffet that was laid on. Tasty, honest tucker, and plenty of it. The cost was a very reasonable $35 per head, and we took care of our own drinks. We didn’t have any music or dancing – just chatting with our mates. With the average age of hashers in Auckland being in Senior Citizens territory, this was the ideal arrangement.

Very good feedback from all attendees, and we plan on making this an annual event. Thanks to all those who helped make this a memorable event, and a special thanks to the non-hash partners who were an important part of the occasion.
